Odds are lower for favourites. If team B's winning price is decimal 1.50 (fractional 1/2, American -200), a ৳1,000 bet gives only ৳500 profit, with a total return of ৳1,500.

Single bets and calculating multi bets
Clicking on any odds adds them to the bet slip. One selection makes a single bet; two or more selections create a multi bet.
Single bet example
In a limited-overs match, team A's odds are 2.10 and team B's odds are 1.75. Placing ৳500 on team B — if team B wins you get back ৳875 (৳375 profit); if team A wins you lose ৳500.
Multi bet example
Adding three selections multiplies the odds automatically on the slip. Say the three odds are 1.60, 1.70, and 1.90 respectively — their combined odds are 1.60 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 5.17 (approximate). A ৳100 bet returns ৳517 if all selections win. But if even one selection loses, the full ৳100 is lost — that is the risk of a multi bet.

BACK and LAY — the concept of exchanges
On a betting exchange you bet directly against other players. There are two positions here:
BACK: Placing ৳500 on team A to win — if team A wins you make ৳500 profit (before commission); if they do not win you lose ৳500.
LAY: Placing a bet against team A winning with ৳500 liability — if team A does not win you make ৳500 profit (before commission). If team A wins, you pay out ৳500.
In both cases the exchange platform takes a small commission. Back or lay calculations with decimal odds of 2.00 work as explained above.
